after all of your bets are in , where is the best place to watch the action. take into account size of Tvs, smoking/non (i like how 1/2 the venetian book is non) and the atmosphere of the book when between 330-4pm edt when all the early games turn to shit on everyone.

I have the directv , but i gotta go take in a saturday or sunday at the books one day.

MGM is alright ......you can still play table games if you like and see most of the big screens. Bellagio is nice and plush.

The RIO is pretty good, nice staff, good service, comp drinks, decent deli right next to the sports book - good prices!

Lots of great locations....so few chairs! My advice is get there early! Otherwise I don't care how nice the ambience is, it won’t be appreciated standing for six hours.

(Bellagio and Caesars are both top shelf.)

No question about it...Caesar's Palace. The place is unreal, and you will not be disappointed.

I was only at Caesar's on Sunday, and it had a bunch of games on the big screens. I wasn't paying attention to the horses, so I'm not sure. It was a football crowd though. Had my heart broken that day, but it was fun until the last few seconds. It's great, but it's much, much better for March Madness. But like someone else said, get there very early so you get a seat.

Hey NJ Sports, I'm gonna be in Vegas in a couple weeks, if you wanna meet up and have a few beers. Just let me know, as I will be there from Sept 8-14.

Stay home.Las Vegas sports books are the most absolute annoying place to watch a game.Guys cheering and giving high fives after rebound,1 yard carry etc.Watch it at home.

Also if I remember right you have just moved to LV.You will not be heading to strip for anything once you have lived there a little bit.If you must go check out GVR or Sunset Station.Coast properties such they want the seats in the book for the horse bettors. They want the sports bettors the bet and leave. What part of town are you living in?

everyone says that "you wont be heading to the strip " but I live in Summerlin and am only 15 minutes away straight down Flamingo. I love the restaurants (even though I am a vegan and only eat pasta and vegeterian stuff) And I loves me some wagering. Also I like heading to the Plams every wednesday to bet the weekend soccer action.

I don't like the little out of the way dumps , uh i mean local casinos.
